I use my background in drawing and painting and my Photoshop skills to composite, retouch and color correct assets as needed.
LA Natural History Museum Commemorative Poster (before)
Customer: Cordell Corporation (Contractors heading up restoration)
Role: Compositing, retouching, design, production
I composited this 24″ x 36″ image from multiple scans of the blueprints from the 1914 wing of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum. The left and right portions were from two separate sections of the blueprints.

Once the images were scanned, I had to make sure all of the sections appeared to line up and connect, and I had to clean up the images, which had a lot of noise from the copies. I also had to resize and supplement the copy that was already on the blueprint. Finally, I gave the illustration a sepia tone; it was printed on a cream colored paper for a vintage blueprint appearance.

This was one of several images taken for the Fusive digital signage (see Belkin Other Projects). Several images of hands holding the product were added into photos of various bags. The product was color corrected based on availability.
