Belkin Retail Seed Kit for T-Mobile Stores

A kit sent to all T-Mobile stores to introduce them to the Belkin brand, and to launch the Mixit metallic line of cables and chargers into their stores. T-Mobile loved the kit! They said it was the best they had ever seen, and they doubled their order after seeing our concept. And most importantly, it led to Belkin becoming a top vendor in all T-Mobile stores!

The Kit

The package features a sleeve; when removed it reveals instructions and the catalog. Below that, are three stacks fo postcards, with the same "Where Will You Take Me?" headline. Those are lifted to reveal the products. Each is in a removable box, so that it can be passed around individually. The Kit box has a stand in the back, which allows the kit to be utilized as a display, like a shadowbox. Once the product boxes are removed, there is one last surprise–the box can double as a picture frame for travel photographs. The kit package was designed by Eric MacDonald.

The Catalog: "Where Will You Take Me?"

With a Spring Break launch date, I was inspired by the ideas of travelogues, maps, and road trips. "Where Will You Take Me?" referred to products designed to go anywhere. The seed kit was meant to introduce Belkin's metallic line into T-Mobile, so I used each of the three colorways to tell a regional road trip story.

Each page included a tip about the featured product, as well as a user interview to emphasize that Belkin makes People Inspired Products.
